Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Payroll Integrations Engineer to design, develop, and maintain integrations supporting payroll and finance processes. This role partners closely with business analysts, functional owners, and external vendors to ensure reliable, scalable, and high-quality data exchanges. You will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives while following established change-management practices.
What You Will Do
Design, build, and enhance integrations based on approved functional specifications
Modify existing integrations based on testing results and business feedback
Diagnose and resolve payroll integration issues, collaborating with business analysts, vendors, and functional stakeholders
Maintain and update technical and functional documentation as solutions evolve
Follow change-control and governance procedures for all integration updates
Provide clear, concise, and business-focused status updates to integration leadership and project stakeholders
Identify opportunities to automate processes and improve code efficiency, performance, and data quality
Minimum Qualifications
3-5 years of hands-on experience developing and supporting payroll or finance integrations using SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (EC/ECP)
Strong understanding of SAP Employee Central and Employee Central Payroll data structures and integration flows
Demonstrated ability to translate functional requirements into reliable, scalable technical integrations
SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll certification or SAP ABAP certification
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with APIs, middleware platforms, or scripting languages (e.g., SQL, Power Query, Python)
Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments, including sprint planning, backlog management, and retrospectives
Exposure to robotic process automation (RPA) or AI-assisted development tools
Experience supporting large-scale digital, HR, or enterprise transformation programs
