Production Support System Engineer

Introduction:

As a Production Support System Engineer, you will be an integral part of our team responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production systems. You will work closely with the engineering team to address any issues that arise and to implement improvements to enhance system performance.

Responsibilities:

• Provide production support for distributed systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner
• Collaborate with engineering teams to implement performance improvements
• Maintain system documentation and configuration
• Participate in on-call rotation to address any production issues outside of business hours

Requirements:

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of production support for distributed systems
• Proficiency in Java programming language
• Experience with AWS cloud services
• Ability to triage production issues effectively
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working in an Agile development environment
• Knowledge of continuous integration and deployment processes
• Certifications in AWS or related technologies
