We are looking for candidates who meet the following qualifications: – Active Top-Secret U.S. Security Clearance (a clearance that has been active in the last 24 months is considered valid). This position also requires SCI eligibility. Applicants must be willing to undergo a CI Polygraph post-hire. – A minimum of 3 years of experience in designing and developing software for complex systems (e.g., Distributed Systems, Multi-Threaded and Multi-Process Applications) along with a solid foundation in computer science and software development. – At least 1 year of experience in object-oriented programming (Java preferred). – Familiarity with distributed version control systems, such as GitHub or IBM Rational Team Concert.

Responsibilities:


In this role, I will entrust you with the following key responsibilities: – Execute software development tasks, which include detailed design, coding, and testing of features that our customers desire. – Analyze customer requirements to ensure that our software implementations meet all functional needs. – Present software designs and demonstrate software functionalities to peers. – Develop and maintain both new and existing applications, along with troubleshooting and resolving various software issues. – Contribute to the creation of new distributed components and interactions that align with our future system architecture. Our existing multi-tiered system operates on a cloud infrastructure with several consumer-facing web applications. – Please note, this position requires being 100% onsite at one of our designated locations.

Regarding preferred qualifications, an ideal candidate will possess: – A Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science. – Experience with Java, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and JS frameworks (e.g., REACT, jQuery), Spring Framework, Hibernate, RDBMS, MongoDB, and protocols like XML, SOAP, REST, and WSDL/Web Services. – Experience in dependency management using tools like Ivy, Maven, or Gradle, and in developing and maintaining SOAP, RMI, REST APIs, and interfaces. – Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructures (AWS), automation servers (Jenkins), and knowledge of the GEOINT domain. – Understanding of practices including test-driven development (TDD), agile methodologies, continuous integration, and dependency management. – Familiarity with Agile or SAFe practices, including daily standups, user stories, sprints, and release planning. – Security Certification such as Security or CISSP is a plus.
