Job Title:Project and Program Manager

Location:Remote

Job Summary:

Responsible for program delivery of multiple related projects and builds effective relationships with stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Planning

o Applies a range of approaches to planning and gathering information in which to develop/facilitate/lead more complex Business Cases, plans and schedules (e.g., ROI)

o Competent in the use of planning tools, considers and develops cross functional plans

• Stakeholder Management

o Works with numerous stakeholders and may work with government/governance bodies

o Understands stakeholder needs and builds effective relationships

o Demonstrates influencing skills to achieve solutions and dealing with challenging stakeholder situations

• Communications

o Uses a variety of communications methods to deliver information relevant to the audience and project needs

o Is fully aware of standardized tools and template requirements and is a ‘go to’ person for feedback on the development of project/program management standards

• Risk Management

o Approach to risk management spans projects level up to strategic risk management where required

o When faced with issues, applies lateral thinking and analyses available information to solve problems and engages with teams to resolve

• Project/Program Delivery

o Responsible for program delivery of multiple related projects required for a specific business functional strategy

o Develops overall program schedule in conjunction with business requirements

o Manages complex high visibility projects involving cross-functional and cross-regional project teams

o Manages internal company wide stakeholders on project teams and holds them accountable for meeting commitments

o Will mentor junior project/program team members in project management

o Resolves complex issues and escalations independently at all levels

o Assists in process development and documentation

o Documents lessons learned and shares with stakeholders

• Resource Management (people, finances etc.)

o Will problem solve resource/budgetary issues with internal teams and external suppliers and conclude disputes successfully and independently

Qualifications

• 7+ years experience preferred

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred

• Prince2 Practitioner or PMP certification preferred

• Due to the nature of work performed, U.S. citizenship is required. Must be a U.S. citizen.

• Will travel occasionally to support and/or participate in business meetings
