Technical Project Manager – IT Focus
Requirements
Must have:
– SECRET clearance or above – Bachelors degree or equivalent with 5+ years of relevant experience – Strong technical background
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all elements of assigned projects, ensuring they meet technical, financial, and scheduling requirements. – Interpret engineering specifications and manufacturing documents; communicate variance in tolerances and configuration changes to government engineers and internal teams. – Ensure the technical performance of projects while adhering to budget and scheduling constraints. – Assist in the development and refinement of Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) estimates in collaboration with program management, finance, and procurement. – Coordinate kitting, packaging, shipment, and transport of project deliverables, including coordinating customer acceptance with DoD. – Maintain rigorous material traceability for all components and deliverables. – Supervise quality control processes to ensure compliance with required standards. – Ensure proper configuration control and documentation for project-related technical data. – Monitor and document materials, including purchase dates, lead times, and costs; provide monthly reports to the client. – Act as a primary point of contact among CACI, subcontractors, vendors, and DoD clients. – Prepare, review, and track Requests for Information (RFIs) and submissions, disseminating information to subcontractors and service providers. – Assist in compiling monthly project status reports. – Participate in project meetings to relay updates on technical, scheduling, and budget performance. – Support project closure activities, ensuring completeness and accuracy of documentation and deliverables. – Oversee the performance of vendors and subcontractors regarding quality, planning, and material delivery. – Ensure timely delivery of materials and services that meet client specifications. – Assist in developing justification documents, sole source recommendations, and technical evaluations. – Execute additional project management and technical support tasks as assigned. – Conduct routine site visits to local vendors as necessary for project success. – Support customer acceptance activities, including qualification and first article, at DoD locations as required.
