Requirements


Must have:

– Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) with a strong grasp of APIs and event-driven architecture – Over 10 years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain – Deep understanding of the product development life cycle, design principles, and data analytics – Demonstrated capability in leading product lifecycle activities, from discovery to strategic development and value management – Minimum of 2 years of experience in the core banking domain – Familiarity with cloud services, event-driven architecture, and domain-driven design – Solid knowledge of software development lifecycles and quality assurance practices – Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with acute attention to detail – Strong communication and teamwork skills, enhancing effectiveness in cross-functional environments – Self-driven and proactive, with the capability to prioritize tasks and adhere to deadlines

Responsibilities:


  • Formulate a product strategy and vision that delivers customer value – Oversee discovery efforts and market research to identify customer solutions for integration into the product roadmap – Manage, maintain, and develop a product backlog that aligns with the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition – Create a framework to track key success metrics for the product, including cost, features, risk, and reliability – Assist in new feature requests and improvements to existing offerings from product partners – Collaborate with teams upstream and downstream to assess cross-impacts of changes and document them accordingly – Engage in product discovery while demonstrating a strong understanding of the core banking domain and GBP capabilities – Influence quarterly planning using Jira/Jira Align, employing CCB agile practices for effective prioritization and delivery – Partner with Line of Business Product teams to onboard products onto the Global Banking Platform (GBP), addressing legal and compliance as well as production issues – Provide meaningful updates and ensure release notes are distributed for each GBP enhancement or upgrade – Act as the point of contact for GBP common capabilities, establishing effective communication across products and sharing implementations across platforms
