CE Mechanical Facility Support Engineer – Nightshift
Requirements
Must have:
– Previous experience in data centers or critical high-availability environments – Familiarity with mechanical systems such as HVAC, industrial chillers, fire pumps, and fire alarm systems – High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent qualification – Minimum of 5 years of practical experience in technical fields including automotive, electrical, controls, or data center settings – Willingness to work a flexible schedule, which may involve 12-hour shifts, rotating schedules, or varying work weeks
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical systems, including HVAC units, chillers, fire pumps, and fire alarm systems – Coordinate with third-party contractors, vendors, and service providers on-site to ensure safety and adherence to regulations – Monitor equipment performance and perform initial evaluations to identify possible issues – Follow all safety protocols and security policies during work activities – Adhere to standard operating procedures for critical environment tasks and ensure compliance with safety regulations
