.NET Developer
Requirements
Must have:
– Minimum 6–8 years of experience in senior-level .NET development and architecture – Proven track record in designing and implementing financial and budget applications using .NET – Proficiency in ASP.NET, C#, .NET, and VB.NET – Expertise in Microsoft SQL Server installation, maintenance, and optimization – Experience with SSIS or integration services – Knowledge of disaster recovery design and testing methodologies – Capable of designing and maintaining TDE encryption – Development experience with Windows Services – Experience in creating and maintaining Web Services – Ability to design detailed technical infrastructure diagrams and documentation – Familiarity with TSM, LiteSpeed, VMware, and FTP – Knowledge in utilizing Active Reports and/or StimulSoft Reports – Proficient in MSTDC configuration and implementation – Strong verbal and written communication skills – Ability to mentor state staff on .NET best practices – Experience in financial institutions for at least 6 years – Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and develop packages for extracting data into structured layouts – Enhance complex applications supported by the Applications Development team, particularly the Budget System – Provide assistance to state employees with .NET solutions and mentor them on best practices – Perform installation, maintenance, and optimization of SQL Server (2008 R2, 2012, 2016) – Work with MSDTC configuration, TDE encryption, and SQL optimization – Utilize SSIS or integration services for data import/export between internal systems – Develop and manage Windows Services and Web Services – Design and test disaster recovery plans – Write and review code in VB.NET and C# / ASP.NET / .NET – Create detailed technical infrastructure diagrams and specifications – Support the StimulSoft reporting environment and/or Active Reports – Collaborate with tools such as TSM, LiteSpeed, VMware, and FTP – Apply knowledge of legal, procurement, budget, HR, payroll processes related to the Budget System – Provide problem resolution, analysis, and other support as requested by the Applications Development Manager – Facilitate development for the .NET-based Statewide Budget Solution, including the Annual Operational Plan, Biennial Plan, and Budget Manual
