Requirements

Must have:

– High School Diploma or equivalent required – Associates degree from a two-year college or technical school in a related field preferred – Minimum of two (2) years of professional experience in an Information Technology support role – Proficient in Information Technology skills, including Microsoft Office, Windows, Mac, TCP/IP, and VPN – Capable of conveying technical information to non-technical personnel – Must possess self-motivation and drive – Normal, corrective vision range; ability to discriminate colors and identify letters, numbers, and symbols – Frequent need to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, bend, crawl, and reach – Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-user workstations and assist with end-user activities (Windows/Mac) – Enter, track, resolve, triage, and escalate incidents in the company ITSM system as they arise – Facilitate onboarding and offboarding of users – Maintain confidentiality regarding information being processed, stored, or accessed on the network – Investigate user issues, identify root causes, and propose, test, and implement solutions – Provide second-level support to IT Support Technicians – Organize and support virtual meetings – Conduct off-site hardware upgrades when necessary – Oversee software and application installations and upgrades – Create and maintain IT knowledge base articles – Diagnose and troubleshoot networks, systems, and applications to resolve operational issues – Participate in on-call rotation – Maintain mobility equipment – Track equipment effectively – Skillfully organize resources and set priorities – Exhibit exceptional verbal and written communication skills – Adapt and support new systems and applications as needed
