Propulsion Controls Systems Engineer
Requirements
Must have:
– Proven experience in controls and/or systems engineering – Strong understanding of powertrain systems is preferred, though not mandatory – Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning – History of successful project execution and problem-solving – Ability to thrive in dynamic, cross-functional teams – Passion for working on complex technical challenges
Responsibilities:
- Lead global stakeholders in identifying needs for new technologies and features in engine, transmission, and electrified propulsion systems – Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to define and develop controls system requirements – Serve as the technical authority on propulsion control features for Stellantis global teams and suppliers – Oversee and maintain requirements documentation for the propulsion control system – Ensure system quality and reliability through methodologies such as DFMEA and DFSS – Provide support to Controls, Calibration, and Validation teams during development and troubleshooting
