Design and Release Engineer – Hot End Exhaust

Requirements

Must have:

– Proficiency in design and development of exhaust systems and heat shields – Experience in quality improvement and value optimization strategies – Knowledge of weight reduction techniques and efficiency enhancement initiatives – Excellent communication skills to relay technical product status to management – Ability to collaborate with suppliers and internal/external teams

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop the exhaust system and/or underbody heat shields for a vehicle line – Manage the timing and production release of components – Implement quality improvements and value optimization initiatives – Drive weight reduction efforts and other efficiency improvements – Coordinate with suppliers, testing and prototype labs, and manufacturing plants
