Production Support Engineer – Tech Focused
Requirements
Must have:
– Over 5 years of experience in Systems Engineering or Technology Architecture, or equivalent through work, training, or education – Strong proficiency in Linux command line, logs, and processes – Experience with Java middleware such as Tomcat, including troubleshooting in production environments – Familiar with incident management tools like ServiceNow, log analysis using Splunk, and monitoring dashboards like Grafana – Skilled in scripting with Python, data validation using SQL, and reporting tools such as Power BI or Excel
Responsibilities:
- Offer technical support for complex applications, systems, and databases within a controlled enterprise setting – Utilize diagnostic tools to efficiently troubleshoot and restore services or data to systems – Engage in migrations, upgrades, and configuration tasks to ensure seamless transitions – Analyze performance trends and suggest process improvements to enhance system efficiency – Maintain comprehensive documentation of incidents, troubleshooting steps, and solutions
