Propulsion Hardware-in-the-Loop Engineer
Requirements
Must have:
– Proven experience in the development of Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) systems such as dSPACE, ETAS, or NI – Comprehensive understanding of HIL simulator hardware and ECU electrical interface definitions – Knowledge of harness development and integration processes – Ability to collaborate effectively with Software, Controls, and Calibration teams – Experience working with interdisciplinary systems including ICE, Transmission, EE, hybrid, and BEV systems – Competence in troubleshooting and resolving HIL simulation environment issues during commissioning – Strong team collaboration and communication skills – Willingness to adapt in a fast-paced, global working environment
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary liaison between the HIL development team and external partners – Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish HIL requirements and perform impact analyses – Setup the HIL simulator for specific vehicle configurations swiftly – Address and resolve HIL simulation or integration challenges – Conduct benchmarks and assess emerging HIL technologies – Engage with teams on process development, methodologies, and tool enhancements
