Core Engineer – Exhaust Systems

Requirements

Must have:

– Bachelors degree in engineering or related field – Experience in quality assurance, warranty analysis, or a related area – Proficiency in documentation and reporting of technical issues – Strong problem-solving skills and ability to implement design changes – Familiarity with interaction between suppliers and internal teams – Excellent communication skills for technical status updates – Knowledge of quality improvement and efficiency enhancement initiatives

Responsibilities:

• Review warranty and quality concerns for the exhaust line from manifold to tailpipe – Analyze parts and document potential issues as they arise – Implement solutions and mitigation efforts, including necessary design modifications and validations – Collaborate with suppliers and internal/external teams such as testing labs and manufacturing plants – Drive quality enhancements, value optimization, and weight reduction projects – Communicate technical product status effectively to management
