Requirements
Must have:
– Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline. A Masters degree is preferred. – At least eleven (11) years of overall work experience. – Minimum of five (5) years leading enterprise Salesforce projects with a focus on IT Management, specifically in Agile environments, along with PMP or equivalent certification. – A minimum of two (2) years in leading IT DevSecOps projects with oversight of more than 15 individuals across multiple Agile teams. – Over three (3) years of experience in business process analysis and change management. – Must be a U.S. Citizen. – Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance if necessary. – Maintain Salesforce certifications and pursue additional Salesforce credentials. – Experience in public sector projects or multiple Salesforce implementations is preferred. – Deep understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Community Cloud, along with knowledge of Salesforce best practices and industry standards. – Proven ability to manage and deliver intricate Salesforce programs on schedule and within budget. – Extensive expertise in project management methodologies, tools, and techniques, with the capability to effectively plan, execute, and control projects. – Strong leadership and communication abilities, capable of influencing, motivating teams, and effectively interacting with stakeholders at all levels. – Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset and sound decision-making in complex scenarios. – Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant) are highly desirable. – Required experience working within Agile or Scrum methodologies. – Residence in the Washington DC metropolitan area is necessary. – Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of a complex Salesforce program, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and fulfillment of business needs. – Define program scope, objectives, deliverables, and create project plans, timelines, and milestones. – Collaborate with key stakeholders, such as business leaders, executives, and technical teams, to gather requirements, align program objectives, and set expectations. – Develop and maintain program documentation, such as project charters, status reports, and risk management strategies. – Oversee and coordinate cross-functional teams, including developers, administrators, and business analysts, to promote effective collaboration and resource utilization. – Monitor program progress, identify and mitigate risks, and resolve issues to ensure successful outcomes. – Track and report on program metrics, delivering regular updates to stakeholders and senior management. – Act as the primary contact for program-related communications, ensuring effective and transparent dialogue across all stakeholders. – Stay updated on Salesforce best practices, industry trends, and new features, evaluating their potential impact on program goals and making informed recommendations. – Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to project teams, cultivating a collaborative and results-driven work environment. – Drive initiatives for continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to optimize processes, boost efficiency, and enhance program delivery. – Perform other job-related responsibilities as assigned.
