What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

  • Perform detailed reviews and analyses of public records requests, ensuring compliance with confidentiality and transparency laws
  • Coordinate with various departments to gather and disclose required records in a timely manner
  • Draft documentation, reports, and official correspondence for public records requests
  • Maintain communication with requestors regarding the status of their records requests
  • Conduct quality control checks on documents to ensure compliance with departmental standards

What Is Required (Qualifications)

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of three (3) years of job-related experience, or one (1) year at the lower level Admin Assistant 1 or equivalent
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to produce high-quality documentation with attention to detail

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Experience in administrative support within a government or healthcare setting
  • Familiarity with public records laws and procedures
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Previous experience in records management or data analysis
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with legal counsel and other departments
