Position: Voice Recording (UK Accent, Southern English)

Type: Hourly contract

Compensation: $25–$35/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

  • Make real phone calls to a demo line and record natural caller-side audio sessions.
  • Spell out names, email addresses, and phone numbers conversationally, similar to customer support calls.
  • Vary tone, pace, pauses, and filler words to ensure realistic and natural speech.
  • Record audio across multiple conditions, including quiet environments, muffled voice, and speaker mode with background noise.
  • Capture and submit the call codes provided during each recording session.
  • Accurately enter call metadata, including speaker details, into shared tracking sheets.

Requirements

  • Native speaker with a Southern English (UK) accent.
  • Ability to place real phone calls (VoIP services are not allowed).
  • Access to a reliable phone and appropriate recording environments.
  • Strong attention to detail for data accuracy and adherence to instructions.
  • Comfortable working independently in a fully remote, task-based setup.
