What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Organize and facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Coach the development team on Scrum values and best practices while promoting self-organization
- Foster clear communication between the development team, Product Owner, and stakeholders
- Track and report on sprint progress and agile metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Ensure adherence to agile guidelines and contribute to the agile community of practice
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- 3-5 years of experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
- At least 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master for a software development team
- Experience with agile tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM I) certification
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Familiarity with various agile techniques (e.g., User Stories, TDD, BDD, Continuous Integration)
- Experience working with cross-functional teams
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
