Requirements


Must have:

– Bachelors degree or equivalent in software, electrical, mechanical engineering, computer science, or a related technical field – At least 5 years of product management experience with complex software and hardware products – Advanced degree in engineering is preferred – Exceptional communication abilities, able to interact professionally with diverse groups including executives and technical experts – Strong combination of technical, business, and interpersonal skills for collaboration with stakeholders and partners – Detail-oriented with proven ability to plan and adapt to deadlines – Proficiency in Confluence, Jira, and Microsoft Office – Availability for domestic travel as necessary (approximately 15% annually)

Responsibilities:


  • Oversee the Product Management of Cubic product(s) within the portfolio – Lead high-performing product management teams and cross-functional collaborations – Serve as the Product Subject Matter Expert for all regional initiatives – Ensure accountability for product requirements, engineering team coordination, product launch, and go-to-market strategies – Develop, manage, and take ownership of the strategic and tactical product roadmaps and customer transition plans – Collaborate with the broader product team, market intelligence resources, product marketing, and business development training – Advocate for customer interests while achieving financial objectives – Focus on timely execution, fulfilling customer expectations, and enhancing user experiences – Provide specialized knowledge on applicable standards, adjacent markets, and support business development efforts – Resolve systemic product issues to mitigate customer impact – Engage directly with sales and services teams, participating in industry committees to identify emerging technologies and trends – Coordinate with engineering to adhere to schedule and budget requirements – Collaborate with other product managers to ensure integration of products within the portfolio – Develop annual product budgets and assist with sales forecasts and solution development – Represent industry expertise at internal and external forums – Participate in due diligence activities for partnerships and mergers & acquisitions – Ensure adherence to standards-based, interoperable products that meet sales targets – Prepare business cases, roadmaps, and product health updates for product reviews
