Requirements

Must have:

– 6 to 8 years of experience in software engineering focused on the ServiceNow platform, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of its architecture – Significant experience in custom Web UI/Service Portal development as well as back-end configuration (including Service Portal, Angular, REST API Integrations, Flow Designer, Scripts, ATFs, etc.) – Proficiency in contemporary UI frameworks such as AngularJS and React – Enthusiasm for JavaScript and web technologies, emphasizing reusability and component-based development – Strong analytical, design, and communication abilities; proven team collaborator – Familiarity with tools necessary for daily tasks (IDE, debugger, build tools, source control, ServiceNow instances) – Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design principles, design patterns, and performance/scalability considerations – Preferred ServiceNow certification (any certification; CSA is acceptable)

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the product development scrum team to enhance and develop the NextGen ServiceNow University platform – Design and implement new features and improvements for the ServiceNow platform – Engage in back-end configuration and Web UI development to optimize user experiences – Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives – Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing – Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise during the development process – Maintain documentation of development processes and coding standards
