IT project manager – agile, cloud
Requirements
Must have:
– Bachelors degree required – Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) – Over 5 years of experience leading enterprise IT projects – More than 5 years of experience in the Software Development Life Cycle – 5+ years of experience in requirements gathering for planning and scheduling – Proficiency in project scheduling using automated tools and analyzing progress – Familiarity with implementing project change processes for scope control – Knowledge of project risk assessment and mitigation planning – Strong team leadership skills for conflict resolution – Candidates must live within a reasonable commuting distance to our Mentor, Ohio headquarters, with a preference for those in Northeast Ohio. Preferred: – ITIL experience – Experience with FDA validation – Agile Methodology knowledge – Waterfall Methodology experience – Familiarity with Salesforce implementation – CRM experience
Responsibilities:
- Oversee projects from inception through design and delivery – Assist in the project-charting process and setup – Plan, schedule, and monitor project progress, including budget estimation and scope management – Manage project priorities, budgets, timelines, and stakeholder expectations – Coordinate resources across various departments – Handle multiple concurrent projects using formal IT project management practices – Maintain project controls to accurately reflect completed work against timelines and budgets, ensuring team and management involvement at key milestones – Recommend staffing plans and necessary skill sets for each project – Evaluate vendor solutions and proposals – Identify, prioritize, and manage project risks continuously – Facilitate design and review meetings with project teams and IT staff – Track short-term project metrics such as schedule variances and customer satisfaction – Manage project expenditures – Regularly update management on project progress and initiatives – Oversee external resources contracted for the project – Assess the projects medium-term benefits for ongoing business-case improvements – Monitor staff workload to ensure team members are appropriately managed and challenged
