Director, Product Marketing
About the Opportunity:
This organization provides AI-powered solutions aimed at supporting social impact organizations in giving, connecting, and engaging. The Director of Product Marketing will lead a team of product and content marketers to develop and execute go-to-market strategies for the financial management portfolio, driving growth and market presence.
Responsibilities:
• Partner with product management to develop pricing and offer strategy
• Lead product launches and act as the primary storyteller for financial management solutions
• Develop a deep understanding of competition and buyer behavior to improve win rates and contribute to annual and long-term strategies
• Collaborate with the go-to-market team to prioritize growth and retention plans
• Work with senior growth marketing leaders to establish lead generation and pipeline building strategies
• Provide stakeholders with value and differentiation materials including presentations, pitch decks, scripts, case studies, web content, white papers, and ROI tools
• Analyze key metrics to assess portfolio health and inform strategy, driving alignment on priorities
• Evaluate team talent and engagement; recommend development and team-building initiatives
• Lead development of budgets and operating plans for product marketing programs
• Ensure transparency and collaboration with senior stakeholders on issues and decisions
• Produce reports to measure team metrics and optimize performance
• Represent marketing leadership in cross-functional collaborations across Customer Success, Sales, Product Management, Data Sciences, Payments, Services, and Finance
Requirements:
• Deep knowledge of financial management solution buyers, including operational challenges, content behaviors, and market influencers
• Strong understanding of the social impact sector and emerging market trends
• Extensive knowledge of the SaaS customer lifecycle and marketing”s role in purchase, renewal, adoption, and usage stages
• Early adopter of AI tools to connect marketing insights to business needs
• Confident decision-maker with experience developing and presenting executive-level content and business cases
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
• Ten years of experience in product, vertical, or field marketing
• Five years of experience leading marketing teams
• Experience with Gong, Klue, Asana, salesforce.com, Marketo, Peerbound
• Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel
• Expertise in SaaS marketing fundamentals and customer/prospect support materials
• Proven ability to develop and execute marketing plans across distributed or matrixed teams
• Strong project management skills to handle multiple stakeholder priorities in complex environments
