Job Summary Mechanical Engineer for a leading manufacturer of custom processing equipment based in Buffalo, NY. This position is responsible for providing design and engineering support throughout the product development process.

Required Qualifications

• Must have at least two (2) years design experience within a manufacturing environment
• Experience creating detailed 3D models of design along with supporting production drawings and bills of material
• Proficient in AutoCad 2D

Preferred

• Proficient in Autodesk Inventor (or similar 3D modelling software)
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering

Responsibilities

• Provide design and engineering support throughout the product development process
• Complete supporting engineering calculations and validations required to ensure sound product design
• Generate detailed 3D models of design along with supporting production drawings and bills of material
• Conduct product safety/risk assessments and other compliance-related evaluations
• Development and deployment of standards and tools for design, costing, general efficiency improvements.
