Job Title: Controls Electrician

Hours/Schedule : Monday-Friday (8 am to 5 pm)

CONTROLS ELECTRICIAN

The Controls Electrician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial electrical and control systems to ensure safe and reliable operation. This role focuses on diagnosing complex electrical issues, interpreting technical documentation, and supporting production through effective electrical maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair industrial AC/DC electrical systems, including transformers, generators, motor controls, and circuit breakers.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical and control system failures in industrial machinery and equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings to support repairs and modifications.
• Perform preventative maintenance on electrical and control systems to minimize downtime.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with safety standards, codes, and company procedures.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working with industrial electrical and control systems (AC/DC).
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Demonstrated troubleshooting and repair skills for complex electrical and control issues.
• Hands-on experience with motor controls, circuit breakers, transformers, and generators.
