Pay rate:$43-$46/hr

Description:

This position blends advanced SQL-based data analysis with cross-functional collaboration. The role is approximately 60% data analysis and SQL development and 40% stakeholder engagement, requiring someone who can translate complex business requirements into accurate, scalable data solutions. You’ll act as a data subject matter expert supporting healthcare programs, with a strong focus on validation, reporting, and system insights.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a Senior SQL Data Analyst, supporting healthcare benefit and claims data analysis through design, validation, and troubleshooting.
• Develop, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries to extract, analyze, and validate backend data from enterprise healthcare systems.
• Perform data cleansing, reconciliation, and quality checks to ensure accuracy across large datasets.
• Partner with cross-functional teams (business, configuration, QA, and IT) to capture requirements and translate them into actionable data solutions.
• Support large-scale Government healthcare programs (Medicaid, Medicare) through analytics, reporting, and data validation.
• Conduct Fit/Gap analysis for new client plans and system enhancements using data-driven insights.
• Assist with system and claims testing, validating results through SQL-driven analysis.
• Document data logic, business rules, and reporting processes to support audits, compliance, and operational transparency.
• Independently manage workload while meeting SLAs, deadlines, and performance expectations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience (flexible).
• 5+ years of SQL experience, including writing complex queries, joins, subqueries, and performance tuning.
• Experience working with healthcare data (claims, benefits, provider, or eligibility data strongly preferred).
• Hands-on experience with Oracle SQL or similar relational databases.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate business needs into data solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence presenting findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience supporting or collaborating within healthcare platforms (e.g., Facets or similar systems) is a strong plus.
• Proficiency in Windows-based environments and enterprise healthcare systems.
