Data Scientist

About the Opportunity:

This team is focused on revolutionizing healthcare by leveraging data to uncover key insights, shape product development, and promote a culture of data-informed decision-making. The Product Data Scientist role involves working cross-functionally to guide product creation and ensure solutions deliver real-world impact in telehealth.

Responsibilities:

• Uncover actionable insights through data analysis

• Challenge assumptions and reveal stories hidden in data to guide decisions

• Apply analytical, statistical, and technical expertise to influence product and business strategy

• Utilize regression analysis, segmentation, and A/B testing for product optimization and improvement

• Collaborate across teams to shape innovative telehealth solutions

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field; advanced degrees preferred

• 3+ years of experience in data analysis or data science with a proven impact on product decisions

• Experience working with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and designers

• Healthcare or telehealth industry experience is desirable but not required

• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation and analysis

• Strong experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Looker

• At least 1 year of experience with Alteryx

• Skilled in statistical techniques including regression analysis, hypothesis testing, clustering, and segmentation

• Experience designing and analyzing A/B tests

• Familiarity with data tools like Segment and Snowflake, ETL processes, and cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud is a plus

• Ability to extract actionable insights from complex datasets

• Strong problem-solving skills and curiosity

• Experience with machine learning techniques is a plus

• Excellent communication skills to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders

• Strong project management skills and ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

• Collaborative and proactive mindset
