About The Role

The Marketing Data Analyst at Fora Financial is a vital role responsible for analyzing marketing and sales data to generate actionable insights that enhance customer acquisition and retention strategies. The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years of experience in data analysis within a financial or marketing environment. This position involves working with large datasets, optimizing media performance, identifying target audience segments, and supporting the development of data-driven marketing initiatives. The analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs), develop analytical approaches, and deliver comprehensive reports and dashboards. The role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate complex insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. The ultimate goal is to improve marketing efficiency, maximize ROI, and support the company’s growth objectives through data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field
  • 1–3 years of experience in data analysis, revenue analysis, or marketing analytics
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills to convey insights effectively
  • Proficiency in SQL for data querying and analysis
  • Experience with reporting and analytics tools such as Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
  • Experience building and maintaining dashboards in Tableau, Power BI, or similar BI tools
  • Knowledge of data validation, data cleaning, and dataset merging techniques
  • Ability to design and interpret A/B tests, lift studies, and cohort analyses

Responsibilities

  • Analyze performance metrics across various marketing channels including direct mail, email, digital, and social media platforms
  • Develop and optimize complex SQL queries to extract, merge, clean, and validate large datasets for reporting purposes
  • Create, update, and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor marketing KPIs, pipeline impact, and return on investment
  • Design and execute A/B tests, lift studies, and cohort analyses to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing tactics
  • Partner with marketing, sales, and other stakeholders to define KPIs and develop analytical strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Monitor data accuracy across CRM systems, analytics platforms, and marketing tools
  • Document data logic, assumptions, and metric definitions to ensure consistency and scalability of analytics efforts
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve marketing campaigns and customer engagement strategies
