Location: Cary, NC – onsite
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to support initiatives for a banking client. This role requires strong technical project management skills, effective stakeholder communication, and the ability to document and archive knowledge across teams and systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage technical projects from initiation through delivery
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, and status reporting
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings and ensure alignment on scope, priorities, and deliverables
- Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and issues
- Ensure proper knowledge archiving, documentation, and handoff of project artifacts
- Maintain clear communication with internal teams and client stakeholders in a regulated banking environment
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager
- Strong understanding of technical systems, SDLC, and project delivery methodologies
- Experience managing stakeholders at multiple levels
- Strong documentation and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
- Experience working in or with banking or financial services clients
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in regulated environments
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid project management frameworks
- PMP, Scrum Master, or similar certification (preferred but not required)
