Job Description Visa Requirement: We are considering candidates who are authorized to work in the United States under the following visa categories only: H4-EAD, GC Holder, GC-EAD, or U.S. Citizen (USC). Job Description: We are looking for a seasoned SQL Developer with 10 years of experience to support the Alabama Medicaid Agency in developing and maintaining the Eligibility & Enrollment (CARES) application. The role involves advanced database development, ETL processes, and systems analysis across integrated systems impacting multiple applications.

Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server–based applications

Create and optimize T-SQL stored procedures, triggers, and queries

Develop and maintain SSIS ETL packages and SSRS reports

Perform unit testing and troubleshoot database and ETL issues

Document all developed code and technical solutions

Provide regular status updates to Project and Development Managers

Analyze data, tasks, and workflows to support business requirements

Participate in the full System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

Assist with technical interviews when required

Requirements: Experience: 10 years overall in software/database development

Database Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server (latest versions), advanced T-SQL development, stored procedures, triggers, and complex queries

ETL & Reporting: Hands-on experience with SSIS, SSRS, and ETL development

Tools & Source Control: Familiarity with Visual Studio, TFS/Azure DevOps

Methodology: Practical experience with Agile/Scrum

Other Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, problem-solving, data and workflow analysis

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
