Java API Developer
Location: Wilmington, DE
Description:
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- Experience with Java and Spring Boot for building scalable backend services
- Experience designing, developing, and maintaining RESTful APIs
- Experience building cloud-native applications on public cloud platforms (e.g., AWS)
- Experience with distributed systems and event-driven architectures, including API Gateways
- Experience working with messaging/streaming platforms such as Apache Kafka
- Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., Cassandra) or similar data stores
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern test automation practices
- Familiarity with Python and/or Apache Spark for data processing or analytics workloads
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes
- Understanding of reliability, scalability, and performance considerations in large-scale systems
