Business Analyst-MDM-BPM- San Jose, CA
We are looking for a highly experienced Lead Business Analyst to drive business process modeling, enterprise data initiatives, and master data management (MDM) programs. This role will work closely with business stakeholders and engineering teams to design, document, and deliver scalable data and analytics solutions supporting core business functions such as Finance, Legal, Sales, and Marketing.
Pay Rate: $50-50/hr
Key Responsibilities
Lead the analysis, modelling, and documentation of complex business processes
Partner with business and technical teams to design and deliver enterprise data, analytics, and MDM solutions
Own business and functional requirements, including use cases and process flows
Support full project lifecycle activities:
- Requirements gathering
- Functional and solution design
- Test planning and execution
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support
- Production and post-implementation support
Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure solutions meet business and technical expectations
Provide updates in scrum, planning, and project status meetings
Take ownership of initiatives and ensure successful, on-time delivery
Required Skills
- 15+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in large enterprise environments
- Strong experience with enterprise data platforms (data warehouses, MDM, analytics systems)
- Hands-on experience with data modeling (conceptual, logical, and physical)
- Proficiency in SQL and programming
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams
