Job Description: We are seeking a highly experienced AI/ML Lead Engineer to design, develop, and lead advanced artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions. This role requires strong technical leadership, deep hands-on expertise in ML systems, and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, production-grade AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable AI/ML models and platforms.
• Architect end-to-end machine learning solutions including data pipelines, feature engineering, model training, validation, deployment, and monitoring.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to AI/ML engineers and data scientists.
• Collaborate with product managers, data engineers, software engineers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into AI-driven solutions.
• Select appropriate algorithms, frameworks, and tools to meet performance and business objectives.
• Monitor model performance and accuracy, and manage model lifecycle including retraining and optimization.
• Ensure AI/ML solutions meet enterprise standards for security, compliance, and governance.
• Drive adoption of best practices in MLOps, model versioning, CI/CD, and observability.
• Stay current with emerging AI/ML technologies and contribute to innovation initiatives.
• Support troubleshooting and optimization of production ML systems.
• Document architectures, processes, and standards to support long-term maintainability.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
• 12+ years of overall IT or software engineering experience, with 6–8+ years in AI/ML-focused roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
• Advanced proficiency in Python and experience with data processing libraries such as Pandas and NumPy.
• Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms, deep learning, NLP, computer vision, and statistical modeling techniques.
• Experience deploying and managing ML models in production environments on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong experience with MLOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, model monitoring, versioning, and retraining strategies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Proven experience serving as a technical lead or leading engineering teams.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Databricks.
• Hands-on exposure to generative AI, large language models (LLMs), and modern AI frameworks.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of responsible AI, model explainability, and data governance practices.
• Experience working in enterprise or regulated environments.
• Background in consulting or client-facing roles.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and infrastructure automation tools.
