Job Title: Learning & Development Technologist
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Hours/Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 am to 5 pm

Overview
The Learning & Development Technologist supports learning operations through workflow automation, data visualization, and technology-enabled process improvement. This role partners with L&D leaders and cross-functional teams to build scalable automation, dashboards, and knowledge management solutions that improve efficiency and demonstrate learning impact.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the Foundry L&D automation lead, identifying opportunities to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency.
- Design, build, and maintain automated workflows and data solutions using Power Automate, SharePoint, and related tools.
- Own and support existing workflow and reporting solutions, including troubleshooting, enhancements, and ongoing optimization.
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards to visualize learning metrics, performance trends, and organizational KPIs.
- Partner with L&D leadership to define, track, and report learning effectiveness and business impact metrics.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security across reporting, analytics, and automation systems.
- Deliver automated and standardized reporting solutions that reduce manual effort and improve decision-making.
- Manage L&D projects using Smartsheet or similar tools, including planning, tracking progress, and communicating risks and outcomes.
- Collaborate with IT and learning partners to implement L&D technologies and provide guidance, coaching, and best practices to colleagues.
Qualifications Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in technology management, information systems, computer science, learning technology, instructional design, performance technology, or a related field.
- Demonstrated expertise with Power Automate, Flow, and Power BI.
- Strong proficiency with DAX for Power BI dashboard development.
- Experience using Smartsheet or similar project management software.
- Experience with learning management systems, content management platforms, and learning content delivery tools.
- Ability to scope, lead, and execute projects independently.
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree in Technology Management, Computer Science, Instructional Systems Technology, Adult Learning, or related field.
- Human Performance Improvement (HPI) certification.
- Experience managing technology projects for global audiences.
- Experience working in regulated environments.
- Familiarity with AI technologies, machine learning, or large language models.
- Instructional design experience and ability to develop learning solutions.
- Experience with tools such as Articulate 360, Camtasia, WalkMe, Office 365, Microsoft Copilot, or similar platforms.
- Programming experience with JavaScript, JSON, MySQL, or related technologies.
