Description:
The client is seeking ETL Developer/SQL tester with experience using cloud solutions on AWS.
The client is looking to hire a ETL Developer/SQL tester with 5-7 years of experience.
Skill Sets and experience include
SQL – Writing Complex Queries, understanding Database Relationships, debugging and performance tuning
Experience working with different DB systems such as MySQL, Oracle, MS SQL Server or similar DBs
ETL tools – Hands-on experience with cloud-based tools
Understanding data modeling
Experience with DevOps
Job responsibilities include (but not limited to):
Designing, building, and maintaining ETL pipelines.
Analyzing data models and business requirements.
Troubleshooting data issues and optimizing performance.
Creating documentation for processes and systems.
Data Validation: Query the database to verify that data is correctly inserted, updated, and deleted by the application, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
Design, Create and Execute Test Cases:
Backend Testing: Validating backend logic and data processing that might not be immediately visible through the user interface.
Collaboration: Working closely with developers and business analysts to understand data requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Skill – Required / Desired – Amount of Experience
Experience with SQL scripting and relational database modeling – Required – 7 Years
Experience working with creating AWS ETL jobs, data pipelines with high volumes of data – Required – 7 Years
Experience with DevOps practices and automation tools – Required – 7 Years
Analyze and plan testing, write test cases, execute manual and automated tests, use technical skills for deeper testing – Required – 7 Years
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and stakeholders. – Required – 7 Years
State Government experience – Nice to have –
Experience programming and testing large scale cloud solutions – Required – 7 Years
