Quality Truck Care Center (Oshkosh) is now accepting applications for a qualified CT or “Certified Tank” Inspector. We offer competitive pay rates, full benefits, and a great working environment.
Job Duties
-
Perform & document HM Inspections including Internal, External, Leakage, and thickness examinations on MC-306, MC-307, DOT-406, and DOT-407 tankers.

Perform & document Method 27 EPA Leak Tests on MC-306 & DOT-406 fuel tankers
-
Perform & document Pressure Re-Tests on MC-306, MC-307, DOT-406, and DOT-407 tankers.

Perform required repairs on various valves, vents, and pump equipment

Maintain all testing equipment required for Tank inspections and testing

Maintain all training as required by USDOT
-
Maintain all documentation as outlined by USDOT regulations.

Maintain a safe and clean work environment
-
Perform preventative maintenance, DOT inspections, and repairs on all forms of trailers as needed.

Represents Quality Truck Care Center in a professional manner, remaining friendly and courteous in all customer and coworker interactions.

Wears proper personal protective equipment to protect from injury.

Keeps work areas clean and free of clutter.

Qualifications/Certifications
-
++Full Certification as a CT Inspector++ (a minimum of 3 years of documentable experience in a qualified facility & a High School diploma).
-
Thorough knowledge and understanding of methods required to perform Tank Inspections following current USDOT regulations and standards.
-
Working knowledge and understanding of the safe and proper use of various testing equipment, gauges, and measuring devices required to properly complete tanker inspections.
