SAP MM Lead Functional Consultant (DAY 1 ONSITE)
Experience:
12+ years of hands-on experience in SAP MM (Materials Management), including at least 2 3 end-to-end implementations and S/4HANA exposure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and own the SAP MM moduleincluding:
- Procurement
- Inventory Management
- Invoice Verification
- Logistics Invoice Verification (LIV)
- Account Determination
- Special Procurement Processes
- Drive business requirement gathering, gap analysis, and solution design.
- Translate business needs into functional specificationsfor ABAP and technical teams.
- Configure and customize:
- Organizational structure (Plant, Storage Location, Purchasing Org, etc.)
- Master data (Material Master, Vendor Master, Purchasing Info Records, Source List)
- Procurement processes (PR PO GR IR)
- Lead S/4HANA MM transformations, including:
- Business Partner integration
- MRP simplification
- MATDOC
- Inventory Management simplifications
- Integrate MM with:
- FI (Account determination, GR/IR, invoice posting)
- SD (Third-party, intercompany, drop shipment)
- PP (MRP, BOM, production planning)
- WM/EWM (warehouse processes)
- Ariba (if applicable)
- Manage testing phases:
- Unit testing
- Integration testing
- UAT support
- Cutover and Go-Live
- Provide post-go-live supportand hypercare.
- Mentor junior consultants and offshore teams.
- Participate in project planning, estimation, and delivery governance.
- Support audit, compliance, and SOX requirements.
- Prepare documentation:
- Business Blueprint
- FS/WRICEF
- Configuration documents
- Training materials
