Marketing Coordinator II
Our entertainment client is seeking a Marketing Coordinator for a 3-month role with a possibility of an extension. Candidates must be able to work onsite in NYC (Hudson Yards) on a hybrid basis (40 hours/week).
The Coordinator, Brand Strategy and Go To Market contributes across the full campaign development lifecycle including creating strategic briefs, coordinating cross functional teams, and ensuring flawless execution across creative, product, CRM, media, and other stakeholders. This role also plays a critical part in aligning global markets by sharing plans that ensure consistency, cohesion, and maximum impact worldwide. By combining strategic thinking with strong operational execution, the Coordinator helps deliver integrated marketing campaigns that elevate the brand and drive key brand health metrics.
The ideal candidate is an entertainment enthusiast with a strong passion for culture and emerging trends. They stay closely connected to cultural conversations across music, film, fashion, sports, and social media, channeling these insights into relevant, fresh, and impactful campaigns. This role requires 1 to 2 years of marketing experience at an entertainment brand or agency. This is a New York based hybrid role with an in office requirement of three days per week.
Role Accountabilities
- Draft campaign briefs that translate business goals and creative vision into clear direction for cross functional partners and external agencies.’
- Pitch and develop insight driven, culturally relevant campaign ideas designed to spark conversation and generate earned media.
- Share campaign plans, best practices, and toolkits with international teams to ensure global alignment and localized impact.
- Track campaign timelines, budgets, and KPIs, reporting on performance and identifying opportunities for optimization.
- Act as a connector across teams, ensuring collaboration, transparency, and seamless execution throughout the campaign.
- Assist with cross functional share outs of brand campaign efforts across social, creative, media planning, growth marketing, international marketing, merchandising, retention, original marketing, corporate communications, operations, and international teams.
- Build rapport, credibility, and influence across a wide range of stakeholders in a highly matrixed organization.
- Maintain an informed perspective on as much content across platforms as possible.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelors degree and or relevant experience.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in brand marketing at an entertainment company or creative agency.
- A foundational understanding of DTC streaming marketing, including creative approaches, workflows, messaging touchpoints, and owned channels such as in app, linear, and organic social.
- Strong understanding of cultural trends, pop culture, and the entertainment landscape, with the ability to translate insights into marketing strategies.
- Experience supporting cross functional teams including creative, media, product, CRM, media relations, and legal in campaign development and execution.
- Experience drafting briefs, coordinating timelines, and tracking deliverables across multiple stakeholders.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to synthesize information and tailor messaging for different audiences.
- Highly organized with strong project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem solving abilities.
- A natural relationship builder who excels in cross functional collaboration within a matrixed organization.
- Strong deck building, presentation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Monday.com; Adobe Suite experience is a plus.
