Trident Consulting is seeking a “ Senior Software Engineer (Web Developer) – Remote” for one of our clients. A global leader in business and technology services.

Job Title: Senior Software Engineer (Web Developer) – Remote

Type: Contract (Only W2)

++Responsibilities:++

Core Development & Architecture

  • Design, build, and maintain high-performance marketing websites using Next.js and a headless CMS
  • Drive technical decision-making, establish coding standards, and promote best practices to ensure scalable, maintainable code
  • Write clean, efficient, well-documented code and participate in thorough code reviews

Performance, Quality & Reliability

  • Ensure websites are responsive and perform well across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices
  • Conduct performance testing, troubleshoot issues, and optimize for speed and reliability
  • Integrate with databases (e.g., MySQL, SQL, RDS) to store and retrieve data as needed
  • Research and evaluate new technologies, frameworks, and tools to keep the web stack modern and effective

Collaboration & Project Delivery

  • Partner with designers and stakeholders to translate requirements into functional, interaction-first web experiences with marketing optimizations
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables
  • Break down requirements into clear tasks and estimate delivery timelines effectively

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a web developer
  • Proficiency in headless CMS and Next.js platforms, Javascript, React.js, Node.js and cloud technologies such as Lambda, EC2, Docker and API gateway.
  • In-depth knowledge of software engineering principles, design patterns, and development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, clearly articulate technical concepts, and resolve conflicts.
  • Strong knowledge of Analytics integrations.
  • Ability to work independently and across team time zones
  • Contract will be for one year but it will be renewed quarter by quarter.
