Position Title: Application Packager/Windows/SCCM
Location: Plano, TX (Hybrid)
Duration: 12+ Months

Job Description:

• Senior Packager Application Delivery Administration
• Client is seeking a candidate to perform desktop application administration and deployments, as well as Microsoft security updates.
• As a member of the Application Delivery team, candidates will create, test and deploy software packages, security patches and OS updates to a large and distributed enterprise.
• Candidates will bring solid expertise in Windows Desktop OS, PowerShell, SCCM and automation, and familiarity with Mac OS and Apple scripting.

Responsibilities:

• Engage Application Owners/Developers/Vendors as needed to develop appropriate technical solutions
• Create application packages in MSI and/or Virtual format
• Maintain windows updates using Configuration Manager 2012
• Create deployment plans that mitigate risk, minimize conflict, and optimize level of effort
• Create partnerships with support teams ensuring they’re aware of desktop changes and have an opportunity to provide feedback
• Provide input into strategic direction and provide technical leadership within the App Delivery team
• Own and implement process and technical improvements including process documentation and compliance improvements
• Remediate issues discovered during testing or deployment
• Provide third level support on packages, deployment, and windows update issues
• Provide desktop troubleshooting support during high impact events
• Provide automated solutions to alleviate issues that require manual technical intervention
• Engage with project teams as needed to provide packaging and deployment support

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or Military Experience
• 2 plus years’ experience in Windows desktop systems management in a large enterprise environment
• 2 plus years’ experience with PowerShell and desktop scripting

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
• 2 plus years’ experience with SCCM/MDM administration
• 1 plus years’ experience in automation solutioning and a continuous integration platform such as Jenkins
• 1 plus years’ experience in Mac OS and Apple scripting

Pay Range: $55.00 – $60.00

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
