PHD Machining — Full-Time

PHD Machining is seeking a senior-level CNC Lathe Machinist who can program, set up, and run precision parts with minimal supervision. If you can take a print and deliver quality parts on time, we want you on our team.

What You’ll Do

Program, set up, and operate CNC lathes

Write and edit G-code at the machine

Read complex blueprints and GD&T

Select tooling, set offsets, and optimize cycle times

Hold tight tolerances and ensure first-pass quality

Troubleshoot machining and programming issues

What We’re Looking For

7 years CNC lathe experience

Strong CNC programming skills

Expert blueprint reading and GD&T

Ability to work independently from print to part

Ability to communicate effectively and meet deadlines

Nice to Have

Live tooling / Y-axis experience

Aerospace or high-precision machining background
