- You operate an overhead crane solo and can rig and load trucks with confidence.
- Blueprints and schematics are your roadmap—no guesswork.
- You’re meticulous about quality, safety, and keeping an organized work area.
What you’ll do
- Assemble complex machinery—small to large—per prints and schematics.
- Rig, lift, move, and load with overhead cranes independently.
- Choose the right tools and equipment to hit production schedules.
- Conduct final inspections to ensure all quality criteria are met.
- Complete monthly safety training and follow safe work practices.
- Support internal stakeholders and external customers.
- Provide cross-coverage and backup within the assembly team.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe workstation.
- Weld as needed (nice-to-have, not required).
- Champion BCT’s Culture and Core Values each day.
Must-haves
- Overhead crane experience (required).
- 3 years in manufacturing or a comparable environment (required).
- Effective verbal and written communication.
- Detail orientation, thoroughness, problem-solving, and reliable follow-through.
- Math skills: add/subtract/multiply/divide and metric conversions.
- Foundational mechanical knowledge.
Nice-to-haves
- Heavy industrial equipment repair experience.
- Industrial heavy machine assembly background.
- Hydraulics exposure.
- Ability to weld.
