Salary: $45.00 USD Hourly – $50.00 USD Hourly

Description: Our client is currently seeking a Application Analyst

The Application Analyst will perform system analysis, application administration, and application support activities for the application, a transit scheduling and operations management solution used in the public transit industry.

This job will have the following responsibilities:

  • Application consists of an integrated suite of modules supporting:

  • Service planning & analysis

  • Scheduling

  • Employee work & vacation selection

  • Workforce management

  • Day-of-operation management

  • Timekeeping for bus, light rail, and heavy rail operations

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Perform system analysis activities across the full SDLC: requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, implementation, and ongoing support.

  • Assist with developing detailed specifications for system modifications or enhancements, documenting functional and technical requirements.

  • Configure application functional components, define foundational data elements, and ensure proper version control.

  • Develop and maintain technical support documentation (troubleshooting procedures, runbooks, system configuration guides).

  • Provide 2nd-level support for application issues, including functionality, environment configuration, and system integrations.

  • Respond to and resolve or escalate application issues raised by end-users and/or system alerts, documenting troubleshooting steps and resolutions.

  • Escalate issues to internal IT teams (Server, Network, Database) and/or software vendor as needed.

  • Perform user access provisioning, including new account setup and permission updates.
