We are seeking a highly skilled Information Security Engineering Project Manager to support complex, large-scale security initiatives within our Independent Developer Environment. In this contingent role, you will partner with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver new security requirements throughout the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Responsibilities
- Lead and support complex security engineering initiatives with broad organizational impact.
- Review, assess, and drive resolution of multi-faceted Information Security Engineering challenges, including those involving ambiguous or unprecedented factors.
- Provide expertise on security policies, standards, compliance requirements, and best practices to ensure successful project deliverables.
- Collaborate strategically with client and internal stakeholders to align on objectives, requirements, and timelines.
- Work closely with Agile teams to plan, track, and deliver security capabilities from design through deployment within the SDLC.
- Manage project scope, risks, communications, and dependencies to ensure effective execution and delivery.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5 years of Information Security Engineering experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through a combination of work history, consulting, training, military experience, or education.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven experience leading security initiatives in an Agile environment.
- Strong understanding of security engineering principles, frameworks, and risk evaluation.
- Ability to assess complex technical challenges and propose practical, scalable solutions.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
