We are looking for a Generative AI Workflow Engineer to lead the development, testing, and stabilization of multi-modal generative AI workflows spanning image, video, and audio formats. This role is central to our media roadmap, focusing on removing technical hurdles and ensuring that advanced AI tools are integrated into our production environment both responsibly and efficiently.

By engineering repeatable systems and bespoke prototypes, you will bridge the gap between complex AI research and creative execution, empowering non-technical staff to utilize cutting-edge technology with ease. If you are passionate about building the infrastructure that fuels the next generation of creative media, we want you on our team.

Responsibilities:

AI Media Enablement

  • Deep knowledge of generative AI tools and the ability to create custom prototypes for image, video, audio, and related media workflows.
  • Develop and pilot creative AI workflows across platforms such as ComfyUI, platform APIs, and diffusion-based systems.
  • Evaluate, adapt, and improve generative AI models and media output using practical experience and production-informed expertise.

Workflow Development & Stabilization

  • Translate AI tool workflows into repeatable, documented processes suitable for non-technical creative teams to use in production environments
  • Design templates, presets, and guided workflows that enable consistent and predictable outputs.
  • Reduce friction and improve usability for creative users adopting AI-enabled tools.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with internal creative teams (editors, producers, writers, designers, artists) to understand workflow needs and identify AI-assisted solutions.
  • Collaborate with media engineering and technology teams to align creative workflows with technical standards, security, and approved platforms.
  • Conduct demonstrations, working sessions, and best-practice reviews with stakeholders.

Technical Execution

  • Build and maintain lightweight tools, scripts, and integrations to support workflow efficiency.
  • Support experimentation and deployment of AI workflows using AWS-based infrastructure and services, as appropriate.
  • Read, write, and modify code in Python and JavaScript to support creative AI workflows and experimentation, leveraging modern tools and frameworks in each language.

Documentation & Support

  • Develop and maintain documentation, usage guidance, and best practices.
  • Respond to user feedback and provide troubleshooting support for approved AI tools.
  • Support knowledge sharing and enablement across creative teams.

Scope & Level Expectations

  • Mid-level individual contributor operating with moderate supervision.
  • Exercises independent judgment within established guidelines and project direction.
  • Collaborates across teams without direct people management responsibilities.
  • Supports continuity and institutional knowledge for active AI tools and workflows.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Media Arts, Design, Film, or a related field.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of machine learning concepts, particularly as applied to generative models.
  • Professional experience working with generative AI tools and diffusion-based workflows.
  • Experience working with AWS (e.g., compute, storage, or ML-related services) in support of AI workflows.
  • Working knowledge of programming concepts, with experience reading and writing code (Javascript, Python preferred)
  • Familiarity with creative workflows across image, video, and/or audio production.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with both creative and technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with ComfyUI, FAL, or similar Gen AI platforms.
  • Some experience working with a team to deliver technology and software in an enterprise environment.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS or other cloud-based ecosystem (Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, etc.), able to independently build and deploy software and solutions in the cloud.

Portfolio & Work Samples:

  • Portfolio demonstrating creative or applied use of generative AI tools.
  • GitHub profile or equivalent showing relevant code, experiments, or workflow tooling.
  • Portfolio and code samples are required as part of the application process.

Qualifications:

Here are a few ways to reword those points, depending on the tone you want to project:

  1. Extensive industry experience within entertainment and media, specifically collaborating with leading studios such as Disney, NBCUniversal, Sony, or Fox.

  2. Technical fluency in Python and JavaScript, with the ability to develop and refine code to enhance creative AI pipelines.

  3. Proven expertise in generative AI, including hands-on experience with diffusion-based tools and platforms like ComfyUI, Fal, or Weavy.
