Compensation Range: $40 – 45 per hour

We are looking for an Email Marketing Manager to serve as a vital “mechanic” for our digital outreach. In this role, you will be responsible for the technical assembly of our email campaigns, taking existing content and expertly building it within our established templates.

Responsibilities:

Role Scope & Responsibilities The Email Marketing Manager will act as a “mechanic,” taking existing content and assembling it within established templates.

  • Newsletter Management:

  • Managing approximately 10 newsletters (mostly monthly, two weekly).

  • Weekly Internal Newsletter: Goes out Fridays at noon; requires high availability on Fridays (9:00 AM – 2:00 PM CST) to handle last-minute changes.

  • Volunteer Newsletter: Requires copy editing (fixing spacing/AP Style) and list maintenance.

  • Technical Execution:

  • Primary tool: MailChimp (Must be an expert/troubleshooter).

  • Secondary tools: Luminate and Razor’s Edge NXT (legacy systems), SmartSheet.

  • Tasks include HTML troubleshooting (fixing links, desktop vs. mobile display issues) and pulling audience lists.

  • Content & Graphics:

  • Content is largely provided by internal partners or forms; the role involves “plug and play” assembly.

  • Graphics are currently created by internally, and the contractor will likely lean on the internal design team or existing repositories (Portfolio).
