Position Summary We are seeking an entry-level Document Control Coordinator to support our quality assurance and documentation efforts. This role is critical in ensuring all engineering and product documentation is maintained, accurate, and complies with company and regulatory standards.

Key Duties And Responsibilities

  • Implement red-line changes and format engineering documents according to internal standards.
  • Maintain consistency across templates and documents by following established guidelines.
  • Review all documents to verify accuracy, completeness, format, and proper authorization.
  • Manage tasks such as filing, scanning, copying, and distributing released documents electronically.
  • Maintain and control archived records and documentation.

Required Skills and Qualities:

  • 2–3 years of relevant document control or quality assurance experience.
  • Completion of a recognized Quality Assurance program preferred.
  • Familiarity with QA processes and Quality Management Systems (QMS).
  • Experience working in a GMP-compliant manufacturing environment is a plus.
  • Proficient in using Electronic Document Management Systems.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards required; ISO 13485 knowledge is a bonus.
  • Prior experience with documentation of Life Sciences or Medical Device products.
  • Advanced Microsoft Word skills, including formatting (headers/footers, multilevel lists, pagination, tables, track changes).
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Understanding of engineering change orders and document control procedures, including revision control and database storage.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
  • Skilled in multitasking and troubleshooting, with proactive issue resolution.
  • Self-starter who works effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Strong understanding of Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
  • A team player who thrives in collaborative settings.
