Research Assistant, Per Diem
Position SummaryRutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Research Assistant, Per Diem in the EPI & Health Outcomes Department at the Rutgers Cancer Institute. The primary purpose of the Research Assistant, Per Diem, is to perform research-related tasks conducted by the Precision Prevention of Prostate Cancer (Pre2 CAP) laboratory. Tasks will include providing support in case identification, recruitment, data collection, study material development, participant tracking, retention, patient communications, and incentives. The Research Assistant will assist with the transition and day-to-day management of the study.Key DutiesPrepares literature reviews for research papers and grants as directed by the PI.Assists in identifying participant eligibility for study activities by reviewing inclusion/exclusion criteria and screening participant demographic and medical information.Supports study enrollment and data collection for investigators conducting cancer-related research, according to PIs’ instructions.Attends and contributes to study team meetings to provide updates on data-related tasks and flag issues with ongoing data collection or analysis.As directed, contributes to data collection through administering consent, conducting interviews and supporting primary data collection activities.Minimum Education and ExperienceBachelor’s degree is required.CityNew BrunswickStateNJPhysical Demands and Work EnvironmentPHYSICAL DEMANDS: Standing, sitting, walking, talking and hearing.
