Requirements


Must have:

– Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited engineering, technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science program – Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience or a suitable combination of education and experience – Strong systems thinking and analytical problem-solving abilities – Experience in requirements decomposition, tracing, and configuration management – Proven capability in drafting test plans, procedures, and conducting system-level integration and verification – Familiarity with standard engineering software such as requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS), MBSE tools (e.g., Cameo), test management tools, and collaboration platforms (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Git) – Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash, Matlab) for automation and data analysis

Responsibilities:


  • Review, create, document, and sustain system requirements and traceability throughout the lifecycle – Establish testing strategies, plans, procedures, and acceptance criteria for component, integration, and system-level testing – Design and conduct validation and verification tasks (functional, interface, performance, reliability, regression) – Evaluate test outcomes, perform root cause analysis, and suggest corrective actions – Work collaboratively with software developers, system architects, and test engineers to validate end-to-end functionality and mission success – Integrate hardware, software, and mission systems within secure Department of Defense environments, ensuring performance, interoperability, and mission assurance – Implement contemporary DevSecOps practices—including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, containerized deployments, and infrastructure as code—to enhance integration and testing processes – Set up, configure, and maintain secure testing environments using cloud-native and virtualized resources – Utilize model-based systems engineering (MBSE) and requirements management tools for design, analysis, and traceability support – Contribute to managing risks, issues, and opportunities; evaluate and communicate technical readiness and impacts on critical paths – Propel continuous enhancement of integration and testing processes by incorporating automation, metrics, and lessons learned to improve efficiency and reliability – Record integration results and testing outcomes for design reviews, readiness assessments, and formal deliverables to customers
