Requirements


Must have:

– Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (preferred) – Over 18 years of experience in IT architecture and design, emphasizing enterprise-wide solutions – Profound understanding of healthcare data and terminologies – Expertise in advanced routing and switching, specifically BGP and OSPF – Proficient in Layer 2/3 and Core Distribution technologies – Experience with enterprise network segmentation – Familiarity with SDWAN and firewall management – Skills in WLAN design, controller management, and wireless oversight in high-density environments – Knowledge in private connectivity and network redundancy strategies – Proficiency in automation and scripting – Experience with monitoring tools like SolarWinds, Elastic, and NetScout, including deep packet inspection and traffic analysis – Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities, particularly with complex interface issues – Advanced leadership and mentoring experience, with the ability to support junior team members – Excellent strategic and organizational skills – Strong business acumen and financial modeling skills – Exceptional creativity and thought leadership in innovation – Understanding of project management methodologies including Agile and Waterfall – Outstanding presentation and negotiation abilities at executive and board levels

Responsibilities:


  • Develop and design architectural frameworks for major network initiatives – Create scalable, redundant, and high-availability network infrastructures – Provide strategic guidance on network security in accordance with industry best practices – Collaborate with executive leadership, business stakeholders, and IT teams to implement the technology roadmap – Maintain up-to-date knowledge of healthcare IT systems and technology landscape, including clinical and administrative systems – Lead large, complex projects while ensuring alignment with business and technical requirements – Mentor and train junior team members to enhance their skills – Drive collaboration among stakeholders to influence and facilitate organizational change – Identify and resolve complex interface issues at a systemic level
