Requirements


Must have:

– Bachelors degree in a relevant field with 4 years of professional experience, or equivalent education/experience – Proficient in both Linux and Windows system administration, including installation, patching, troubleshooting, and hardening of operating systems (both physical and virtual machines) – Knowledge of LAN and WAN networking structures, along with virtualization technologies – Must possess an active Top Secret Clearance – Familiarity with patching/security hardening for Windows and Linux OS in a classified setting – Experience managing offline RHEL/Ubuntu Repo servers – Background in virtualization environments (e.g., VMWare) and storage array networks (e.g., NetApp, TrueNAS) – Scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell – Experience in creating boot images and configuring Cisco switches – Strong written and verbal communication skills – Ability to effectively collaborate in a fast-paced, team-driven environment – Current CompTIA Security certification, to be acquired within 6 months of employment – CompTIA Linux or Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator Certification – Capacity for in-depth monitoring and troubleshooting using various techniques – Experience with Agile Scrum development methodologies

Responsibilities:


  • Engage in an agile scrum environment to support the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of diverse IT systems – Oversee day-to-day operations of IT systems, including monitoring and resolving issues for all client/server/storage/network devices – Patch and secure Linux RedHat operating systems and collaborate with security teams to mitigate cyber threats
